Senior Accountant – 3 Month Contract – Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid)

Our client, a well‑established, privately held industrial services organization with multiple entities across Canada, is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead their accounting function through a period of continued growth.

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll own financial reporting and consolidation across the group while acting as financial lead for one of the larger operating entities. This is a hands‑on role combining technical accounting depth with team leadership in a fast‑paced private‑company environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation across all entities (ASPE)
- Lead intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reporting integrity
- Manage the external audit process end‑to‑end and serve as primary contact for auditors and advisors
- Drive process and systems improvements, including SAGE 300 optimization




- Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives

What You Bring

- CPA designation (required)
- 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including industry
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves and acting in an execution based role where required
- Strong multi‑entity and corporate accounting background
- SAGE 300 or similar mid‑market ERP experience an asset

Pay Rate: $65.00 / Hour

Contract type: 3 Month Contract

Location: Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid)

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada.
