TR Trades is hiring a seasoned Large Format Print Operator - Flatbed & Roll to Roll.

As our Large Format Print Operator, you will be responsible for the SwissQ Printing division and play a key role in keeping production accurate, efficient, and on schedule.

In this role, you will:

- Operate the Nyla SwissQ Printer
- Operate Roll to Roll Vinyl Printer and Cutter
- Manage the SwissQ department efficiently, producing correct jobs with minimal waste
- Plan jobs carefully to maximize media usage and reduce wastage wherever possible
- Read and understand work orders, media requirements, inks, and department inventory
- Ensure all jobs are completed on time and to a high standard of quality
- Understand and work within SwissQ software
- Set files up correctly for a range of print features, including textures and other specialty finishes
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of the SwissQ as recommended
- Maintain room conditions including temperature, humidity, and cleanliness
- Work with service technicians to support machine performance and reliability
- Collaborate closely with management to improve workflow, efficiency, and standard operating procedures
- Work with key clients when needed, including scheduling first proof reviews onsite





Success in this role requires strong communication, accountability, and the ability to stay fully up to date on all active shop jobs at the start of each shift.

This is also a agile, team-focused position. You will be trained in other departments and expected to step into other areas of the shop when required. We value team members who are adaptable, solutions-focused, and committed to supporting the wider production operation.
