Elevate your finance career with Domtar as a Senior Cash Application Agent in Montreal, Quebec. This full time role focuses on applying customer payments and account reconciliations. In this position within the Financial Shared Services group, you'll report to the Supervisor of Cash Application.

You'll be instrumental in ensuring the accurate cash application of payments into our receivable systems, maintaining stringent deadlines for month-end closing. Collaboration and equipping other cash application agents during busy periods will also be part of your daily responsibility. Key Responsibilities:

- Apply customer payments daily to receivable systems
- Reconcile payments based on client documents
- Balance cash received against Treasury reports
- Process cash transfers within A/R systems
- Document and keep procedures updated Requirements:
- College degree in accounting required
- Minimum two years in cash application experience
- Familiarity with SAP considered an asset
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
