Senior Consultant, Change & Communications
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract through October 30, 2026
Work Model: Hybrid – Minimum 1 day per week in office (Thursday) plus one additional in-office day per month
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Pay Range: $70 - $84
Our client, a leading enterprise organization, is seeking a Senior Consultant, Change & Communications to support the successful closure and transition of a large-scale transformation program.
This is an exciting opportunity for a communications and change management professional who enjoys working across complex organizations, engaging diverse stakeholders, and driving adoption during periods of change. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing strategic communications, supporting stakeholder engagement, and ensuring a smooth transition of program activities into ongoing business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Messaging
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans supporting program closure and transition activities
- Create key messaging frameworks tailored to diverse stakeholder groups
- Translate complex business, process, and program information into transparent, engaging communications
- Prepare executive presentations, briefing materials, stakeholder updates, and communication artifacts
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with business, operational, compliance, privacy, and technology stakeholders
- Develop targeted communication strategies that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and help align messaging across multiple groups
- Gather feedback and stakeholder insights to inform communication and change strategies
Change Management
- Support enterprise-wide change initiatives through structured change management approaches
- Apply change management methodologies to improve stakeholder readiness and adoption
- Develop communication and engagement activities that reinforce desired behaviors and business outcomes
- Monitor stakeholder engagement and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness
Program Support
- Support transition planning and business readiness activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and aligned
- Develop and maintain communication processes, tools, and templates
- Contribute to program governance activities and reporting as required
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in change management, enterprise communications, program delivery, or a related field
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation or business change initiatives
- Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement, adoption, communications, and governance practices
- Experience applying structured change management methodologies, including ADKAR or similar frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to develop executive-level communications and presentations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Change Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience supporting large-scale organizational, operational, or technology transformation programs
