OPPORTUNITY: Title:Senior Coordinator, High Performance Sport Reports to:Director, High Performance Sport Location:Golf Canada Headquarters (Caledon, ON) Target Hiring Range: $60,000 to $65,000 Status:Full Time Target Start Date: September 15, 2026 OVERVIEW: Golf Canada is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative individual to join its High Performance team as Senior Coordinator, High Performance Sport. Reporting to the Director, High Performance Sport, this individual will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Team Canada (Men’s and Women’s, pros and amateurs) program. The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with the Senior Coordinator responsible for the Team Canada – NextGen and Talent Identification programs to ensure a seamless athlete pathway.

The individual will support coaches, athletes, integrated support team (IST) practitioners, and external partners in delivering a best-in-class high performance program.

PRIMARY DUTIES: 1.Training Camps & International Events – 40% - Work with national team coaches to coordinate logistics for team training camps and international team events including the World Amateur Team Championships, Spirit Invitational and Pan American Games.

- Oversee the Warm Weather Training Hubs, including the rental houses and facilities.
- Support team logistics leading into the Olympic Games including maintaining the long list, fulfilling uniform orders and logistics delivery.
- Regularly attend golf events to provide support to Team Canada members and maintain relationships throughout the industry. 2.Athlete & Program Operations – 30% - Provide support to Team Canada selection process by researching results, rankings and other performance factors for players being considered and compile selection packages.
- Conduct data analysis as needed to support summarization and presentation of research to key members.
- Utilize technology platforms to improve operational efficiency in the data analysis process.
- Attend the selection committee meetings to record minutes and prepare post-selection documents.
- Lead the onboarding process for incoming members of Team Canada.
- Oversee the player funding system for Team Canada amateurs and professionals. This includes an annual review of needs-based financial aid, execution of professional budget reviews and event stipends for high-level events.
- Liaise with members of the integrated support team (IST) to coordinate support days, travel logistics and expense items.



3.Stakeholder Relations – 20% - Lead the organization and execution of Team Canada media day
- Foster key relationships with external program stakeholders including Sport Integrity Canada, Sport Canada Athlete Assistance Program, Acushnet, Puma Canada and Foresight Sports. 4.Equipment & Operations – 10% - Lead the national team uniform process from initiation through to final decisions and final ordering for all team members.
- Track and maintain inventory of equipment and apparel.
- Fulfil apparel and equipment requests from players and coaches.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES - Post-secondary degree;

- 1-3 years relevant experience in sport administration, event operations, athlete services or project coordination;
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Robust organizational, planning and time management skills;
- Passion for high performance sport and athlete development;
- A competitive golfing background or high performance experience in another sport is an asset for this position;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset;
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed;
- Willingness to perform some moderate lifting (no more than approx. 30lbs) related to apparel and gear shipping; NOTE: The Golf Canada's regular hours of work are 40 hours per week, namely Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and 5 days a week including a one-hour lunch. However, the demands of your position may mean that your hours of work will vary, may be irregular and will be the hours required to meet the objectives of your employment.
