Role Responsibilities Build and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and Celery. Design and manage PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations. Develop responsive frontend interfaces with React and JavaScript. Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Manage Helm charts for multi‑environment deployments. Support distributed, async task processing at scale. Requirements Python (Django, REST APIs, ORM) Celery (async task queues, beat scheduling, workers) PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, migrations) React and JavaScript (ES6+, component architecture, state management) Docker (Dockerfile authoring, image builds, private registries) Kubernetes (Deployments, Services, Ingress, RBAC) Helm (chart authoring, templating, multi‑env values files) Preferred, but not required GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipeline authoring, workflows, secrets management) Service mesh or Gateway API experience (Istio, cert‑manager) TypeScript or message queue experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ) We Offer Base salary for Toronto, ON: CAD $105k – $115k/year, depending on geography and other factors. 15 days (3 weeks) of paid annual leave plus an additional 10 days of personal leave (floating days and sick days).
