Role Overview

As a Business Reliability and IT Ops Manager at Toyota Financial Services, you will lead the management of daily operational support activities, improve efficiency, and drive the adoption of automation and DevOps practices. You will work with partners to improve provisioning and de-provisioning processes, manage third-party infrastructure and vendors, and develop and implement uniform system administration practices. You will also develop and maintain the technical roadmap, including a long-term technical plan that accounts for company growth and business needs.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing daily operational support activities, providing timely response to queries, working with partners to improve efficiency, and driving the adoption of automation and DevOps practices. You will also work with vendors to ensure appropriate contracts and pricing are in place, manage the budgeting and forecasting of IT operations, and develop and implement uniform system administration practices.

Requirements





- Post Secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 7+ year’s leadership/management experience in an IT Operations or Infrastructure role
- 10+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience in Production Operations or Support environment
- Previous experience with IT Operations, Help Desk and Problem Management tools or procedures
- Understanding of ITIL process concepts (Incident, Problem, Request Fulfillment, Change, Knowledge Management) and ServiceNow
- Proven experience in incident identification, diagnosis, troubleshooting, resolution, and solution implementation
- Superior analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, presentation, customer service and relationship building skills
- Project management experience
- Experience in disaster recovery and building business continuity plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
