Position: Senior Data Platform Engineer (Netezza)

Location: Hybrid/Onsite- Toronto, ON

We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud, Big Data, ETL, Data Warehousing, and Platform Engineering . The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable data platforms, cloud migrations, distributed data processing, and enterprise data pipelines using AWS, Netezza, Redshift, Airflow, SSIS, SQL, Spark, and Kafka .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support scalable data platforms and data pipelines using AWS and Big Data technologies.
- Lead on-premises to AWS cloud migration initiatives with robust Netezza experience.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS , Airflow, or similar technologies.
- Build and manage AWS services including EMR, EC2, S3, Glue, Redshift, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation .
- Design and optimize workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow .
- Support real-time data processing using Kafka and Spark Streaming .
- Perform data ingestion,



transformation, validation, and optimization across enterprise data platforms.
- Optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot production issues to ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver enterprise data platform solutions.

Required Skills Cloud: AWS (EMR, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Redshift, Glue, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation)
