The Senior Electrical Engineer will be a member of the qualified services team and provide electrical engineering and design to assigned electrical project deliverables.

Engineer will work on electrical systems designs on various projects within a versatile team where all abilities are put to good use. Electrical engineering designs will include base building electrical building systems, electrical tenant design, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure design at new and existing facilities. This role will be that of an individual contributor however the candidate will be expected to provide experience, leadership, and mentorship to the rest of the electrical engineering team.

Electrical Design Work

Independent project management of multiple concurrent electrical design projects, including scope, deliverables, CAD deliverables, CAD staff deliverables, authorities, and budgets/financials. Research feasibility and design, operation, and performance of building electrical systems (power distribution, utilities connection, lighting, controls, emergency power, life‑safety, fire alarms, renewable power generation and storage). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineers, architects, facility management, technicians) to develop detailed designs across architectural, mechanical, and electrical projects.

Design for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, tenant fit‑up, and mechanical equipment upgrades. Provide equipment selections, cost and timing estimates, reports, design specifications and drawings for electrical systems covering power distribution, utilities connection, lighting, controls, emergency power, life‑safety, fire alarms, EV charging, and renewable power generation/storing. Help develop, improve,



and maintain processes, quality control, specifications, detail libraries, and design best practices.

Provide experience and leadership on all electrical deliverables. Minimum 8 years of electrical design/engineering experience. Familiarity with Electrical Codes and Provincial Building Codes.

Experience in engineering consulting. Strong understanding of the electrical engineering environment.

Experience in engineering and construction of building and site electrical, power, lighting and life‑safety systems (fire alarm, etc.). Ability to work on several projects concurrently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages is an asset.

Proficient with MS Office suite. Prior customer interface experience. Proficiency with computer tools. Knowledge of building mechanical systems is an asset. Must hold a degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.

Engineering license in other provinces is an asset. This is a regular, full‑time position with a salary range of $82,432 – $103,040 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
