Elevate aerospace production with Collins Aerospace as a Manufacturing Methods Engineering Specialist in Oakville, Ontario. Lead development and optimization of manufacturing methods for aerospace components while ensuring regulatory compliance.In this onsite role, you will develop and maintain Manufacturing Plans and NC programming, ensuring the efficiency and safety of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, analyzing engineering drawings, and collaborating with design and production to ensure compliance with aerospace standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the quality and efficiency of aerospace operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Manufacturing Plans in PLM/ERP
- Manage cost estimates and planning parameters in ERP (SAP)
- Analyze engineering drawings for manufacturability
- Coordinate NC programming and technique sheet releases
- Train production operators on revised processesRequirements:
- University Degree with 5 years' experience or Advanced Degree with 3 years
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software (NX preferred)
- Experience in GD&T and aerospace specifications
- Robust communication skills, both written and oral
