Join Arcadis as a Senior Geotechnical Field Engineer and manage critical site works in Western Canada. Provide leadership, mentor junior engineers, and ensure geotechnical compliance on hefty infrastructure projects. In this senior role, you will plan and oversee geotechnical investigations and provide essential support during construction phases.
This includes interpreting geotechnical data and translating findings into actionable design parameters. You’ll also play a vital role in enhancing the geotechnical practice and guiding less experienced engineers within the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scope of work and budget for investigations
- Analyze geotechnical data and advise on designs
- Prepare constructability methods for various structures
- Conduct in office reviews and address unforeseen conditions
- Mentor junior engineers and uphold practice standards Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
- P.Eng. in British Columbia or eligible
- Knowledge of relevant Canadian engineering practices
