Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Operations & Automation Specialist to build and optimize Zenduit’s finance “operating system.”

This role goes beyond traditional accounting—it is focused on designing exception-driven workflows, automation pipelines, and audit-ready controls that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

You will still support core finance operations, but your primary impact will come from systemizing processes, reducing cycle times, and enabling an exceptions-only finance model. What You’ll Do1) Agentic Workflow Buildout (Finance Ops “Autopilot”) Design and implement exception-based workflows across AR, AP, and month-end close

Build validation gates to catch errors before invoicing or payment processing

Create human-in-the-loop workflows (automation proposes → human approves → system logs evidence) 2) Continuous Controls & Audit-Ready Operations Build controls-by-design (approvals, segregation of duties, traceability)

Maintain and automate a monthly Close Binder

Run recurring control checks (discount approvals, pricing compliance, duplicate vendors) 3) Core Finance Operations Support month-end close: reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis

Maintain strong AR/AP hygiene (aging, collections, coding, approvals)

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements (with oversight as needed) 4)



Zenduit-Specific Operational Integrity Build system checks across Zoho CRM ↔ Zoho Books ↔ Zoho Inventory

Ensure

Closed-won deals → correctly invoiced/subscribed

Shipments/activations → billed accurately

Credits/refunds → approved, categorized, and analyzed

Experience Level - Salary Range (CAD)

0–2 years (Fresh Grad) - $55,000 – $65,000

3–5 years - $70,000 – $80,000

Final compensation will depend on experience, skillset, and demonstrated automation capability.
