Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy

Lead the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Financial Reporting

Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and performance dashboards.

Business Partnership

Partner with operational leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify growth opportunities,



and provide strategic recommendations for business improvement.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team by fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional growth.

Risk Management and Compliance

Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and corporate financial policies while managing organizational financial risk.

Continuous Improvement

Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting systems, budgeting practices, and operational efficiency through innovation and best practices.

What We Are Looking For

Experience

Minimum 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or corporate financial management, including 5 or more years in a senior management leadership role with responsibility for financial strategy, team leadership, and organizational planning.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. A CPA designation is strongly preferred.

Technical Expertise

Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and enterprise resource planning systems. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial management software is highly desirable.

Leadership Skills

Demonstrated success leading finance teams, managing organizational priorities, influencing business decisions, and building strong relationships across multiple departments.

Communication Skills

Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to executives, managers, and external stakeholders.

Mindset A strategic, analytical, and results-driven leader with strong business acumen, sound judgment, high ethical standards, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Pay: $119,883.00-$122,742.00 per year
