Vice President, Recruitment Services at Vaco

Our client is looking for a SFA, FP&A; for a 6-month contract. The role will require working in office, in the downtown Toronto core, 2 to 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for business case analysis and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present monthly management reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers.
- Support strategic decision-making through scenario modeling and financial simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to gather inputs and validate financial assumptions.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing explanations for deviations.'Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in financial reporting systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A; processes, tools, and reporting templates.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,



Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
- 4–7+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A;, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools (experience with ERP systems like Sage or GP).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Robust business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
