The Opportunity:
Our client, in the Insurance Industry is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team in Ontario. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering financial insights that support strategic business decisions through budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and financial reporting. The role collaborates with business partners to improve financial processes, evaluate key performance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
· Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the organization.
· Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, variance analyses, and performance summaries.
· Developing and maintaining financial models, dashboards, and key performance metrics to support decision-making.
· Analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide meaningful business insights.
· Enhancing reporting processes through automation, improved data management, and process optimization.
· Contributing to scenario analysis, strategic initiatives, and executive reporting.
· Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data, reports, and forecasting tools.
· Supporting finance operations during month-end, quarter-end, and annual reporting cycles.
The Ideal Candidate:
· CPA designation (or actively pursuing) is considered an asset.
· 2–4 years of experience in FP&A;, financial analysis, or a related finance role.
· Advanced Excel skills with experience building and maintaining financial models.
· Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or other reporting and visualization tools is an asset.
· Exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
· Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights to a variety of stakeholders.
· Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to learn and grow professionally.
