Vice President, Recruitment Services at Vaco Toronto

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

- Support global monthly and quarterly consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and IFRS compliance.
- Review and refine consolidation entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements.
- Coordinate with regional finance teams across time zones, helping resolve reporting issues quickly and effectively.
- Support our OneStream implementation through testing, validation, and requirements alignment (not as lead).
- Partner with auditors by preparing documentation and providing variance explanations.
- Identify opportunities to improve close processes, shorten timelines, and increase efficiency.
- Contribute to special projects such as system enhancements and integration of new entities.

Requirements

- CPA/CA designation with 3+ years of accounting experience, including consolidation in a multinational environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and hands‑on experience preparing consolidated financial statements.




- Skilled with ERP systems (SAP/Sage)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills; thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Organized, curious, and proactive in making processes more efficient.
- You’re a rapid learner, take ownership of your work, and aren’t afraid to ask questions to get things right.
