About the role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll lead the delivery of high impact product and platform work across the stack. We’re looking for someone with strong ownership, sharp product instinct, and the ability to use modern AI tooling to meaningfully amplify their output. This is a role for someone who goes beyond execution, quickly gets to the heart of the problem, challenges assumptions where needed, and delivers practical, high quality solutions with real impact.

In this role, you’ll work hands-on across frontend and backend systems, help shape technical direction, and partner closely with product and design to build fast, pragmatic, high quality software at scale. You’ll also lead the design, architecture, and delivery of production ready AI applications at scale.

Hours of Work: Your core working hours will generally align with Eastern and Pacific time zones. However, as you'll also require partnering with colleagues across APAC occasionally, some flexibility will be required to enable effective global collaboration. We believe flexibility goes both ways, so you'll have the autonomy to structure your day in a way that balances collaboration, deep focus, and personal commitments.

Role Location: We welcome candidates with authorization to work in Toronto, Canada or British Columbia.

Hybrid Work Setting: This role is primarily remote, with access to our downtown Toronto office for collaboration, team meetings, and company events. Occasional in-person attendance may be required based on business or team needs. Our office is located at 100 University Avenue in Toronto’s Financial District, near Union Station and the TTC.

What your day to day will look like:

Building new features and improving and maintaining existing functionality across frontend and backend systems, leveraging modern AI tools where appropriate

Leading projects by collaborating with product,

design and other stakeholders and converting ambiguous requirements into reliable and maintainable implementations

Designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and user facing application features

Integrating data from various backend services, systems, and databases

Compiling and analyzing data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement

Participating in research, producing POCs, and evaluating new methodologies and technologies that improve quality, reliability, scalability, security, and performance

Actively participating in code reviews by providing constructive comments and sharing and adopting best practices to improve codebase quality, efficiency, and security

Writing and maintaining software documentation where needed

Optimizing the application for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainability

Helping shape the technical direction of full stack development

Mentoring and guiding engineers through collaboration, coaching, and support in day to day execution

Committing to support a safe, mindful, and productive team environment, maintaining open, honest, and respectful communication

How we work

Distributed team

High ownership and autonomy
