The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Fund Accountant to join our fund accounting team as part of our financial services business in Montreal. Your primary responsibilities include

- Involvement in client-related and internal administrative functions; - Liaising with investment managers, prime brokers and other transaction counterparties in various jurisdictions; - Deliver high levels of client service in accordance with internal policies and procedures.

What You Bring In addition to a commitment to delivering superior candidate and stakeholder experiences:





- Qualified accountant with an excellent academic background and at least 3 years of experience in accounting for investment products, ideally with single-manager hedge funds and private equity funds; - Preference will be given to candidates with prior fund administration, Advent Geneva accounting software and Investran experience; - Direct experience processing subscriptions, redemptions, share transfers and dividend payments, series and equalisation accounting methodologies, fee structures for both hedge funds and private equity, and anti-money laundering and relevant regulatory requirements; - Understanding of private equity and SPV accounting, securities commonly encountered in the hedge fund industry (equities, bonds, swaps, options, futures), and the ability to account for these securities; - Strong written communication and verbal presentation skills.
