Job Overview Fidelity Canada Internal Audit – IT Audit Analyst Location: 483 Bay Street, Toronto (until ~late 2026) then 3 Robert Speck Parkway, Mississauga. Full time, versatile hybrid schedule. Current work authorization for Canada required.
Responsibilities - Plan and execute audit scope coverage, fieldwork and testing within established timelines.
- Document audit testing, form conclusions, and identify areas for improvement.
- Keep Internal Audit and stakeholders fully informed of progress and ensure agreed improvements are actioned.
- Collaborate with business auditors to deliver integrated audits of application and general IT controls.
- Provide advisory services to stakeholders, developing real-time feedback and recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Draft clear audit reports detailing issues, business impact, and proposed action plans/control enhancements.
- Engage stakeholders for validation and timely closure of audit findings.
- Perform business-unit risk assessments, evaluate initiatives, organizational and regulatory changes, and identify audit gaps.
- Assess, identify risks and consult on technology topics including cybersecurity, cloud computing, data governance, emerging technologies, and Bwise incidents.
- Co‑ordinate audit activities with external auditors and the broader FIL technology audit team.
Qualifications and Experience - 5+ years of experience in technology/application and infrastructure audit.
- University degree (BS/BA) in accounting, computer science or related IT field, or equivalent work experience.
- Professional certifications: CISA or CISM required; CISSP or other security certifications a plus.
- Experience leading audit engagements throughout the full audit cycle (planning to reporting), preferably in financial services (asset-manage, brokerage).
- Deep knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android) and databases (Oracle, SQL, Snowflake).
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Office 365).
- Experience in cybersecurity, ransomware, and emerging technologies (AI/ML).
- Data analytics, application programming, agile auditing, and crypto & blockchain experience are pluses.
- Strong knowledge of audit frameworks (IIA, ISACA, NIST) and regulatory standards.

Compensation & Benefits - Base salary range: $150,000 – $170,000 annually (based on experience).
- Discretionary performance bonus.
