Shape the financial strategy for Capitalize for Kids as the Director of Finance. In this hybrid role, you will guide financial operations and provide strategic insights from day-to-day transactions to high-level analysis.This is a hands-on leadership position reporting directly to the President & CEO. As Director of Finance, you will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance within a charity dedicated to improving youth mental health. Your expertise will directly impact the financial integrity and growth of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise part time Bookkeeper’s work and transactions
- Ensure timely month-end financial reporting and analysis
- Maintain and configure QuickBooks Online for reporting




- Lead multi-year budget development in collaboration with executives
- Prepare audit documentation and financial statementsRequirements:
- 7+ years of financial management experience
- Proficiency in MS Office365 and QuickBooks Online
- Strong knowledge of not-for-profit accounting standards
- 3+ years in a leadership role preferred
