Reporting to the Manager, Line Review Operations, the Senior Line Review Consultant leads the end-to-end creation and quality assurance of Deal Letters (Line Review / Product Assortment Guide) to ensure they are retail-ready, accurate, and easy for Dealers (Store Owners) to execute.
This role mentors the Line Review Consultant team as a subject matter expert, leads issue/obstacle mitigation for complex deals, and partners cross-functionally (Merchandising, Space Planning, Supply Chain, Translations, Packaging & QA, Deal Management) to deliver on-time communications and drive process improvements, supported by strong Excel skills and automation capabilities (VBA and/or Python).
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Deal Letter build process across all Merchandising lines of business (prioritization, scope alignment, design, creation, and delivery) to meet quality and timeline commitments.
- Lead quality assurance for Deal Letters (including peer review of other LRCs' work) to ensure integrity, accuracy, and adherence to Line Review Operations standards.
- Serve as the LRO team subject matter expert, mentor and coach teammates, remove obstacles, and lead mitigation discussions to drive timely issue resolution (including complex deals).
- Facilitate pre-Deal Letter kickoffs to validate strategy, assortment details, and special treatments; lead cross-functional execution touchpoints through completion.
- Build strong, efficient partnerships with Merchandising, Space Planning, Supply Chain, Translations, Packaging & QA, and Deal Management to resolve or elevate issues quickly.
- Gather data and compile reporting on Deal Letter performance; lead post-mortems and recommend improvements to quality metrics, on-time mail rates, and execution for future cycles.
Qualifications
- University/college degree (business, retail management, communications,
or related preferred).
- 3–5 years of retail and/or merchandising experience (assortment planning, store operations, project management, and/or communications).
- Strong understanding of retail operations; category management, retail merchandising, and/or supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience creating polished digital documents/communications; comfortable working with images, graphics, and text to produce clear, visually effective materials.
- Ability to influence and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic, structured thinker, able to turn goals into action plans beyond day-to-day execution.
- Highly detail-oriented; able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Technically inclined; working knowledge of VBA (Excel macros) and/or Python to automate reporting, improve QA, and enable process efficiency.
- Expertise in leveraging Microsoft 365 to automate workflows and enhance data accuracy through advanced Excel functions, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and macro development.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office 365, with a proven ability to build complex models, troubleshoot macros, and streamline reporting using advanced lookup functions.
Compensation & Benefits
Broadband salary range: $64,000 to $106,000 per annum. Typical hiring range: $64,000 to $85,000.
