Pay Details: $115,600 - $163,200 CAD.

The Marketing Strategic

Operations team plays a critical role in enabling Marketing to operate with clarity, confidence, discipline, and speed. This team supports overall marketing strategy and measurement across Marketing and delivers on the colleague experience, enabling capabilities to drive efficiency, learning & development, business management, operational governance, and supports cross‑functional delivery across Marketing.

Role Overview The Senior Manager, Colleague Experience & Business Management leads the Marketing Academy pillar of the colleague experience strategy, shaping a future‑ready learning ecosystem from onboarding to ongoing role‑based learning and skill development, and directing key business management and operations activities for the Marketing function.

Key Accountabilities 1. Lead the Marketing Academy Strategy and Roadmap. Own strategy, roadmap, and operating model; design annual learning plan covering fundamentals, core competencies, and role‑based development; partner with senior leaders, SMEs, HR, L&D;, Marketing teams, and external partners to identify capability gaps and translate into learning journeys; develop, plan, and execute impactful learning experiences; oversee recent‑hire orientation and onboarding.

Lead Continuous

Improvement, Discipline and Talent Growth. Provide oversight of measurement and insights framework, use data and feedback to assess effectiveness, shape evolution,



and inform priorities; lead talent acceleration approach supporting ongoing learning and development of Marketing talent.

Lead Business

Management and Operations Enablement. Provide oversight of Marketing Business Management and Operations functions, ensuring key programs (Business Continuity, CEIT readiness, premises support, onboarding/offboarding) enable objectives and resilience; drive improvement through scalable practices, stakeholder partnership, process optimization, and risk management.

Customer

Accountabilities - Develop, communicate, and implement a holistic strategy for own business management function aligned with overall strategy.

- Oversee and manage work activities requiring multi‑area alignment.
- Lead development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas.
- Partner with senior leadership and respective teams for enterprise alignment, recognizing trends, identifying issues, recommending actions.
- Act as strategic partner, influencing and aligning others, ensuring integrated view of activities, providing escalation and decision support.
- Forecast initiatives, coordinate prioritization of portfolio with stakeholders.
- Provide functional communications to stakeholders and employees, aligning messages with business strategies.

Accountabilities - Ensure team adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to business management activities.

- Lead relationships with corporate and control functions to align with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Support team in staying knowledgeable on emerging trends and rules, assessing impacts.
- Identify key issues, eskalate to levels and stakeholders as required.
- Promote risk‑management culture, manage controls, and align with risk appetite.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements (financial controls, segregation of duties, approvals, physical controls).
- Work with business leaders to optimize resources and leverage operating model.
- Lead or contribute to cross‑functional initiatives as SME; guide governance meetings or committees. Team Leadership - Manage overall team(s), set targets, deliver results, grow expertise.
- Foster productive, innovative culture; coordinate resources, coaching, development, succession planning.
- Prioritize workload to meet quality results and deadlines; support positive work environment.
- Recommend opportunities for productivity and operational efficiency.
- Establish effective relationships with partners, program and project managers; partake in knowledge transfer. Expertise & Experience Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required. 10+ years relevant experience.

Essential qualities: strategic marketing mindset, understanding of marketing process, learning mindset, ability to collaborate and build relationships to translate priorities into practical learning experiences and measurable outcomes.
