Our Winnipeg office is looking for a Bilingual Senior Manager to join the Assurance team. This is a replacement role; Efficiently prepare year‑end engagements and tax returns for clients in a variety of industries. Perform audits, prepare working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards.
Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients to grow the practice and manage higher volume of work. Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of the team. Take a more active leadership role within the office.
Review assurance and non‑assurance engagements for private enterprise, non‑profit and public sector entities to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed. Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance and non‑assurance engagements.
Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO policy and using strong technical skills and accounting experience.
Assist clients with analyzing and applying accounting standards to relevant transactions, including drafting reports and presentations. Remain current on evolving financial reporting standards and securities and regulatory requirements and developing business issues. Fluently bilingual in both French and English (written and oral). be described by clients as positive, professional, and delivering high‑quality work.
