Role Summary
As a Senior Tax Manager in our Domestic Tax team, you will own client relationships across a variety of industries and collaborate with a robust team of over 400 tax professionals across Assurance, Advisory, and Specialty Tax. Your role is to be a trusted advisor, providing corporate and personal tax planning and compliance solutions that maximize tax savings for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen client‑firm relationships, taking ownership of the client experience.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning solutions tailored to clients’ unique business needs.
- Provide tax advisory services on reorganizations, rollovers, wind‑ups, amalgamations, succession, estate planning, and review of T1, T2, and T3 returns.
- Coach and mentor team members on tax compliance and planning.
- Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and introducing clients to our firm’s diverse offerings.
Qualifications
- Completed the CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Course or hold a master’s degree in taxation.
- Experience presenting new ideas, strategies, and tax solutions for clients with a focus on exceptional client service.
- Interest in pursuing business development opportunities to grow the tax practice.
- Recognized as a technical expert in Canadian corporate and personal tax planning and compliance.
- Proactive in supporting colleagues’ qualified growth.
