As we continue to expand across Northern Ontario, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Controller to lead our accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, project-based environment. Position Summary The Accounting Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, industrial services, or other project-based accounting environments, along with strong leadership and analytical skills. Reporting to the CFO, this role works closely with project controls and operations leadership to improve profitability, reporting accuracy, and overall financial performance across multiple projects and divisions.



Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Prepare monthly and annual financial statements Lead month-end and year-end close processes Maintain general ledger accuracy and account reconciliations Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and projections Analyze financial performance and provide operational insights to management Prepare KPI and project profitability reporting Job Costing & Project Accounting Oversee project accounting and job costing processes Support project teams with timely and accurate financial data Ensure accurate revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion reporting where applicable Review contract billing, progress draws, hold-backs, and change orders Controls & Compliance Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures Support continuous improvement of ERP/accounting systems and workflows Qualifications CPA designation preferred Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting leadership experience Experience in construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or project-based environments strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $90,000–$175,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications Comprehensive benefits program Location Temiskaming Shores, Ontario Posting Closes Aug 30th, 2026, Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
