Network Consultant (client: global leader in IT infrastructure consulting and management industry)

Role(s) Required: Network Consultant

Location: Remote, Toronto, ON

Employment Type: 6 months to start but this is a Indefinite, longterm contract

Required Start Date: ASAP

Total Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/week

Rate/Salary: $70 - 80 /hr - based on overall experience

Summary

As a Network Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing their network infrastructure. This is a contract position, and you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for clients, including switches, routers, firewalls,



and other networking equipment.
- Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor network performance and security, and take proactive measures to ensure the stability and reliability of the network.
- Collaborate with clients and other team members to understand their business needs and provide customized solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and trends to continuously improve our services and offerings.

Required skills & experience

- 10+ years of related experience in network consulting, administration or support
- High level of expertise with the following technologies:
- AWS NETWORK CONSTRUCT: Transit Gateway, VPC, DirectConnect, Gateway Load-Balancer, Internet Gateway, EC2
