ensuring proper waste disposal and respectful interactions with residents.ResponsibilitiesSafely operating the assigned commercial vehicle to collect various waste streams (yard waste, green bins and residential garbage) in a safe and efficient manner, and delivering the material to the appropriate depot (transfer station, landfill, compost facility etc.)Providing customers with reliable and high‑quality customer service. Proper disposal of the waste streams is vital to the health and well‑being of the residents of the community.Adhering to the collection and delivery schedule while following all relevant MWSI policies and procedures as well as legislation and regulations set out by the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Environment and the by‑laws of the municipality in which you are working.Working collaboratively with fellow employees, management, residents and members of the public in a polite and respectful manner at all times.Ensuring all waste receptacles that are emptied into the collection vehicle and placed back on the resident’s property, flipped upside down at the curb, in the same place that they were removed from.Completing in excess of eight hundred (800)
