Overview

Division/Department: PDRI CAN. Job Title: Director of Technical Client Oversight and Expectations. Reports to: VP Strategic Client Partnerships. The Director supports the Business Development & Sales team by facilitating and training on in-field components of Performance Management, Catastrophe Response, and Estimating Skill. The role trains network personnel on program guidelines and expectations, assists with carrier partner vendor management, and supports onsite reinspections, customer concerns, estimate accuracy, operational processes, and pricing.

Responsibilities

- Assist Business Development team with network trainings focused on program guidelines and expectations; support carrier partners' vendor management team.
- Efficiently address customer concerns and escalations related to quality and daily operations.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to identify problems and implement improvements based on performance trend analysis.
- Lead projects to improve scorecard performance on technical and process workflows (cycle time, estimate accuracy, pricing, etc.).
- Coordinate emergency, contents, and repair projects; write and review mitigation, contents, and reconstruction estimates.
- Assist during catastrophe events, including deployment to locations.




- Train and facilitate continuous improvement in office locations on scoping, estimating, budgeting, customer service, and internal job management software.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members to provide technical training.
- Client relations and account management; attend/lead client meetings virtually or in person and conduct client reviews.
- Represent the brand at various industry and client events.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of estimating principles for the insurance industry; familiarity with estimating platforms (Xactware, Symbility, etc.).
- Robust problem-solving, conflict resolution, and priority management skills.
- Leadership and people-management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to write and review estimates for mitigation, reconstruction, contents, and structure; WTR, ASD, Mold certifications required/maintained as applicable.
- Effective communication via email and phone; ability to conduct client meetings and reviews.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality; able to pass a satisfactory background check.

Education and Experience

- Required:



Associate or College Degree; 5+ years’ experience with estimation principles in the insurance industry; some supervisory/management experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of work experience in claims or related field; restoration industry experience.

Physical Requirements

The role requires sitting, occasional climbing or balancing, stooping or kneeling, and vision capabilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). Must be able to stay in a stationary position for periods, operate office equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. May require occasional travel to sites and locations.

Work Environment

Indoor work with air conditioning/heating; potential exposure to outdoor conditions at job sites; possible use of personal protective equipment during reinspections and catastrophe locations. Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.

Travel

Up to 30% travel. Travel to franchise locations, trainings, customers’ homes, catastrophe locations, and team meetings may be required.
