We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to lead the Alameda Observability team and innovate new observability infrastructure powering RDS - a massive distributed system architecture supporting one of the largest managed database fleets on the planet. The work requires solving the hardest engineering challenges in distributed systems and networking at massive scale, with significant bottom-line impact on the RDS business and competitive position. A successful candidate will have the experience and skill to set a strategic technical vision, provide hands‑on guidance to the team, innovate on developer experience, and drive operational efficiency.
