Field Education Coordinator - (999079.5)Job SummaryThe Social Work Field Education Coordinator works closely with on‑campus and distance/online students across Canada and may work with international field placements. The Coordinator partners with students and agencies to identify, strategize, and secure field placements that align with student career aspirations. They also build and maintain relationships with community organizations, agencies, schools, and government ministries to provide rich learning environments and professional growth opportunities for practicum students.Preferred HireBlack peoplePeople with disabilities/disabled personsRacialized people or people of colourWomen and gender diverse peoplesJob RequirementsMaster’s degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work and 5 years of social work experience.Knowledge of the School’s Mission Statement learning outcomes emphasizing decolonial equity, social justice, and anti‑oppressive social work approaches.Managing field education requests for BSW and MSW programs.Demonstrated knowledge of standard office technology including diverse database systems, MS Office and calendar applications.Knowledge and awareness of trends in social work education and practice environments.Personal skills in counselling, mentoring, and advising at an advanced practice level.Policy analysis and procedure development.Community development knowledge and expertise.Public relations expertise.Preferred Skills and ExperienceUnderstanding of the experiences and barriers faced by Black, Indigenous, and students of colour (BIPOC) within the academy and field education.Ability to work effectively with people with diverse needs and a diverse population of students and practice supervisors.Proven track record of communication and conflict resolution skills,

Performance range: Up to $104,529.
