A well-established international engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking anIntermediate to Senior Hydrogeologistto join its growing North Vancouver team. The successful candidate will contribute to a broad mix of hydrogeological and mine water management projects, with a strong focus on mining-related work.Key areas of focus may include:Groundwater modelling and hydrogeological analysisMine water balance modelling and operational water managementHydrogeological monitoring and characterization programsPit dewatering and depressurization assessmentsGroundwater supply and environmental impact assessmentsField investigations including pumping tests, well installation oversight, and groundwater samplingData analysis, interpretation, and technical reportingSupporting multidisciplinary mining and infrastructure projects from planning through operationsThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical problem solving and practical field-based hydrogeology work.What You BringIntermediate LevelRegistered or eligible for registration as aP.Eng.
or P.Geo.in CanadaAbility to work independently with mentorship from senior technical staffStrong interest in continuing to develop across technical disciplinesField experience or exposure to hydrogeological investigations is considered an assetSenior LevelTypically 10+ years of relevant hydrogeological consulting experienceExperience managing projects and leading technical work with minimal oversightStrong client communication and project coordination abilitiesProven experience delivering hydrogeological or mine water projects in consulting environmentsRequired QualificationsDegree in Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geoscience, or related disciplineP.Eng. or P.Geo. designation in CanadaStrong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures preciselyStrong communication and report-writing skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally for field workPreferred ExperienceGroundwater modelling or numerical modelling aptitudeMine water balance experienceExperience with software such as MODFLOW, GoldSim, FeFlow, AquiferTest, GIS, or related platformsProgramming or scripting exposure (Python, VBA,
