Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract)
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist leads full-cycle recruitment across multiple portfolios, including plant operations, corporate, and management roles. This role develops and executes targeted hiring strategies, partners with Hiring Managers, and drives the delivery of high-quality talent while strengthening pipelines and enhancing the overall recruitment process. Full-Cycle Recruitment & Strategy Execution Develop and implement recruitment strategies for assigned portfolios and searches, including sourcing approaches, selection criteria, tools, and processes Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across salaried, corporate, plant, and management roles to ensure timely, high-quality hires within budget Manage communication between candidates, Hiring Managers, and HR to ensure a smooth onboarding transition Leverage recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn, ATS) to build and maintain strong talent pipelines Mentor peers and support the development of team members to achieve recruitment goals Recruitment Governance & Best Practices Ensure recruitment and selection processes align with skilled standards and provincial legislation Provide training and support to Hiring Managers and HR partners on recruitment processes and best practices Support the development and expansion of pipeline programs, including campus, community, and industry partnerships Build networks through career fairs, events, and professional associations Contribute to employer branding initiatives across digital and social channels Help position the organization as an employer of choice to attract diverse, high-quality talent Maintain recruitment data, including vacancy tracking, ATS updates,
and pipeline activity Generate reports and dashboards to monitor recruitment performance and identify trends Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience Coaching & Team Support Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to peers and/or junior team members Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Talent Acquisition team Completion of college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Previous 5+ years experience working within a Human Resources department Preferred Completion of university degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Preferred previous experience working within a Human Resources department within the manufacturing industry Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and project management skills Must be able to meet project deadlines, with good sense of urgency and follow through Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision Timely delivery of high-quality hires across multiple portfolios Strong and proactive talent pipelines aligned to business needs Effective partnerships with Hiring Managers and HR stakeholders Consistent, compliant, and efficient recruitment processes Exposure to senior leadership and global partners A culture built on Quality, Direct Communication, and Respect Ongoing learning, development, and meaningful career progression Give and Go is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees regardless of race, ancestry, place of origin, color, ethnic or national origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, record of offences (for which a pardon has been granted), disability, marital or family status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
