About the job Senior Tax Manager Vancouver

- Deliver high-level tax planning strategies for clients
- Supervise and mentor tax staff, providing continuous feedback
- Coordinate and review special tax projects
- Assist with overall management and marketing of the tax group

Qualifications:

- CPA designation and completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Program
- Proficiency in CaseWare, Caseview, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office
- Experience in a public accounting firm as a manager or senior manager
- Ability to build solid working relationships with partners, clients, and related advisors
- In-depth knowledge of private company Canadian income tax matters
- Strong technical skills with a creative approach to practical solutions
- Excellent analytical, leadership, problem-solving skills, and professional judgment
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- High standard of integrity and commitment to exceptional client service




- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to lifelong learning and continually improving knowledge related to this position

Skills - Must Have:

- Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax program
- 5+ years of Canadian tax experience at another CPA firm in Canada
- Experience managing a team of tax staff
- Experience in tax planning, compliance, returns, and income tax for private company clients
- Experience working with owner-managed, small to mid-sized organizations
- Current work experience at a CPA firm in Canada
- Ability to come into the Vancouver office on a hybrid schedule
