Position Summary

Experienced Estimator / Project Manager responsible for preparing accurate plumbing estimates, managing project budgets, coordinating field operations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Acts as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering and pre-construction through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed plumbing estimates for residential, multi-family, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope and material requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
- Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare bid submissions and assist with contract negotiations.
- Manage multiple plumbing projects simultaneously from award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, general contractors, and site personnel to ensure project requirements are met.




- Monitor project costs, track change orders, and manage project financial performance.
- Oversee material purchasing, equipment allocation, and workforce planning.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and final project documentation.

Qualifications

- Experience in plumbing estimating and project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, construction methods, and building codes.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience with quantity take-offs, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
- Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction workplace.
