Salary Range: CA$85,000.00 To CA$115,000.00 Annually Senior User Experience Designer Company: Corel Corporation Position: Senior User Experience Designer – Graphics Applications Position Description Corel Corporation seeks a full‑time Senior User Experience Designer to create exceptional user experiences for our world‑class Graphics portfolio. The enthusiastic and talented individual in this key position will report to the Director of Product Design and will be accountable for crafting experiences that delight millions of users across the globe. This position is remote work friendly with a Design and User Assistance team located primarily in Ottawa, Canada.

The candidate should be willing and able to travel to Ottawa if needed.

Responsibilities - Provide design leadership and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment - Clearly communicate compelling design solutions using a variety of media and channels, including case definition, wireframes, mockups, stories and presentations - Create and maintain design systems within standard UX tools - Actively engage with users to understand user behavior, needs and motivations through observation, interviews and feedback collection - Synthesize and translate customer and business inputs into meaningful requirements - Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by conducting and interpreting research analytics data points - Act as the UX lead in scrums and assist Product Management in prioritizing work items - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and scrums to ensure designs align with business priorities, intended functionality and goals - Work with Product Management and R&D; to break down requirements into manageable components to be delivered on schedule,



at the right level of user value and quality - Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and user experience design to create cutting-edge, cutting‑edge designs - Evolve the workflows and interaction of all solutions based on new user and business inputs and expectations - Craft journey and empathy maps - Develop prototypes to test and visualize the user experience Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, Architecture, Graphic Design, or other related design field - 7+ years of designing compelling user experiences for desktop, mobile, and web - Experience designing and implementing user interfaces for AI features - Proven experience designing for desktop and web - Solid understanding of devices and platforms - Strong interaction and visual design skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Excellent organization, multi‑tasking, and prioritization skills - Strong attention to detail - Proven ability to deliver against tight deadlines It is our policy and practice to offer equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to race, color, age, religion, national origin, sex, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetics, or any other protected characteristic.
