Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service: Greet visitors warmly, provide personalized assistance, and answer questions about wines, pairings, and the winemaking process.
- Sales: Guide customers in selecting wines and store products, promoting and processing transactions accurately.
- Sale Transactions: Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system, handle cash, and manage tabs responsibly. Competence in handling cash, making change, and processing transactions.
- Wine Knowledge: Share information about our winery, vineyards, and wine portfolio to enhance the guest experience. Prior experience is optional
- Store Presentation: Maintain cleanliness, organization, and restock inventory in the retail space to ensure a visually appealing environment.
- Tastings: Assist with wine tastings, including preparation,



pouring, and educating guests about wine selections.
- Events Support: Participate in winery events, promotions, and tours as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and report discrepancies
- Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service regulations, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.

- Qualifications:

- Customer-Focused: A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Wine Knowledge: Basic knowledge of wines and winemaking is an asset, but training will be provided.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Passion for Wine: A genuine interest in wine and the wine-making process
- Sales Skills: Experience or aptitude for upselling and promoting products.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
