Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
- Assist in food preparation when needed and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly,
and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cashiering and billing purposes
- Experience with food preparation, serving, and hospitality practices is beneficial
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
