Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or beverages.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments swiftly.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed,



supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
- Ensure all food industry safety protocols are followed diligently to promote guest safety and satisfaction.

Experience

- Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining excellent guest service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling ensures accuracy during transactions.
- Ability to work well within a team in a hospitality setting, demonstrating outstanding customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for order calculations, bill splitting, and cash management are essential for success in this role.
