We are building a diverse, strategic, consultative team of sales leaders, problem‑solvers, and relationship managers. The team supports Retail and Commercial growth by partnering across Payments, Treasury, Everyday Banking, Digital Channels, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Fraud/Risk, and Finance.Role:The Vice President, Financial Institutions Partnerships leads the enterprise sales strategy for a portfolio of Mastercard’s key Canadian customers. The role manages a team of senior sales professionals responsible for sales and relationship management and reports to the Senior Vice President, Financial Institutions Partnerships, Canada.Team leadership:Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing team with a disciplined approach to strategic selling and relationship management, creating long‑term value for partners and MastercardDevelop and oversee account strategies, coach on account plan development and hold the team accountable for deliveryLead strategic selling and deal management to deliver strong commercial results and partner valueAlign the team to regional and global strategies and objectivesFoster collaboration with cross‑functional partners and specialists to deliver outcomesOwn personal and team targets,



including revenue goals and sales forecastsEnterprise sales leadership:Develop deep customer understanding and a clear point of view on how Mastercard can address business needsLead assessment of the financial and strategic scope of opportunitiesPrioritize business development and sell‑in strategies to support short‑, medium‑, and long‑term objectivesShape customer success strategies that drive revenue growth, retention, penetration, and lifetime valueDefine and implement engagement models, processes, and disciplines that differentiate Mastercard’s partnership approachLead strategic dialogue and solution development across the full spectrum of Mastercard capabilitiesInitiate executive‑level conversations on new and emerging opportunities to grow share, volume, and revenueBuild and maintain relationships at the executive level and beyondDeliver strategic account management through robust planning, differentiated solutions, and effective cross‑functional executionDevelop business cases and financial models to support key initiativesNegotiate, execute, and manage customer contracts, ensuring effective coordination and information sharingALL ABOUT YOU:Proven enterprise sales leader with proven experience in building and developing high‑performing teamsStrong strategic and analytical skills, with a track record of solving complex problems and delivering revenue growthCollaborative and forward‑looking, with the ability to engage internal partners to deliver resultsEffective influencer in matrixed, distributed (global/regional/market) organizationsAbility to build, manage, and grow relationships with executives at all levelsStrong negotiation, presentation, and communication skillsComfortable working with speed, flexibility, and ambiguityHigh business acumen and thought leadershipPassion for a solution‑centric approach to customer successExperience in payments and the financial institutions industryBreadth across sales strategy, product development, business development, marketing, operations, risk, and emerging technologiesApproximately 20% travel,
