Today, DECAST is the largest manufacturing facility for infrastructure products in Canada.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable legislationMentor and oversee a team of approximately 5 - 10 skilled trade workers, licensed and apprenticesAssign tasks and follow up on progressSchedule outside contractors as requiredMonitor supply of spare parts and ordering replacement parts as requiredAssist and guide trade personnel as required (repairs, troubleshooting)Complete administrative duties, (reports, MP2 CMMS, vacations)Skills, Education & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed technician.Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Mechanic (421A) OR Red Seal Truck and Coach Technician (310T)
