About The OpportunityLRO Staffing is partnering with a leading organization to recruit an HR Advisor specializing in disability, leave, and employee experience. This is a term, hybrid role for approximately 14‑15 months, primarily remote within the Ottawa region, with occasional on‑site presence 1‑2 days per week. The role provides hands‑on HR support to leaders and employees, managing leave administration, accommodations, onboarding, and employee experience programs. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced HR professional looking to deepen expertise in leave management, HR compliance, and employee experience within a dynamic, multi‑jurisdictional setting.ResponsibilitiesManage employee leave administration, including disability (short‑and‑long‑term), parental, and unpaid leavesProvide guidance to leaders and employees throughout the leave process, including complex and sensitive casesPrepare accommodation and return‑to‑work plans in consultation with employees, leaders, and third‑party providersAdminister leave‑related approvals and transactions within WorkdayLead onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, ensuring compliance and engagementTrack and analyze HR data, including stay surveys and HR metrics, to identify trends and inform program improvementsMaintain HR guidelines, policies, and legislative compliance across multiple jurisdictionsCoordinate accessibility planning and reporting,



including AODA complianceDeliver HR compliance and workplace health & safety trainingSupport Workday administration and provide backup support to the broader HR teamAnalyze HR data and metrics to inform strategic decision‑making and reportingAbout YouMinimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on leave management and employee experienceBachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, or a related fieldCHRP or CHRL designation preferredMinimum 2 years managing complex disability claims and accommodation casesStrong knowledge of multi‑jurisdictional employment legislation (ESA, Human Rights Code, Health & Safety)Experience developing HR programs, policies, and procedures and implementing them across an organizationProficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and HR data analysisStrong client focus, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with tact, empathy, and professionalismExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities independentlyDiscretion, confidentiality, and sound judgmentAbout the JobLocation: Hybrid, primarily remote; optional office presence in Ottawa, ONDuration: Approximately 14–15 monthsHours: Flexible within normal business hours, 35 hours/weekSalary: $85,500 to $99,400Benefits: 3 weeks vacation, personal days, sick leave, flexible work arrangements, employee assistance program, on‑site fitness and wellness programs, underground paid parking, and more#J-18808-Ljbffr
