Lead Camp Counsellor (4 positions)Reports to: Program and Camp Coordinator | Location: 7150 Montrose Road, Niagara Falls ON L2H 3N3 | Hours: 35-40 hours/week | Hourly Wage: $21/hour | Duration: (June 8, 2026 – August 21, 2026)Position OverviewReporting to the Program and Camp Coordinator, the Lead Camp Counsellor is responsible for the supervision and coaching of Camp Counsellors as they work 1:1 or 2:1 with children, youth and adults on the autism spectrum. The Lead Camp Counsellor will facilitate and adapt the delivery of the camp program activities, manage any challenging behaviours and perform personal care, including toileting, changing, feeding and lifting. The Lead Camp Counsellor will communicate with parents and caregivers and complete reports as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with Program Coordinator to prepare the camp program and staff trainingOrganize and attend all training events, staff meetings/ debriefings and planning sessionsWork with Lead staff and camp counsellors to support campers with behaviour challengesMentor and supervise camp staff in collaboration with Program CoordinatorCreate and adapt program plans for your assigned group, incorporating fine motor activities and outdoor/indoor gross motor activitiesEnsure a smooth operation of the Camp program by creating a positive team atmosphereUtilize problem solving skills and monitor activities to ensure campers’ safety and enjoymentMaintain positive communication with families regarding camper’s progress and experience in CampAssist in camper sign-in and sign-outAssist Program Coordinator in managing all document collection from staff/families (waivers, evaluations,
