Little Minds Big Futures is looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Specialist & Executive Assistant to join our growing education company.
This role is ideal for someone who loves creating engaging social media content while also helping behind the scenes with administrative tasks that keep our business running smoothly. You will work closely with the owner to create content, communicate with families, organize schedules, and support daily operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, confident using Canva, comfortable learning new technology, and passionate about helping a small business grow.
This is a paid position with opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding education company.
ResponsibilitiesSocial Media
- Create engaging content for Instagram and Facebook using Canva, Instagram Edits APP, Meta Business Suite.
- Design graphics, reels, carousels, stories, and promotional materials that align with our brand.
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
- Write engaging captions that reflect our brand voice.
- Stay up to date with current social media trends and recommend creative content ideas.
- Assist with basic photo and video editing.
Administrative Support
- Help organize and manage the owner's Google Calendar and appointments.
- Create digital forms, documents, worksheets, and templates using Google Forms, Google Docs, and Canva.
- Respond to and communicate with current and prospective families via email in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist with scheduling tutoring sessions and interviews.
- Maintain organized digital files and client information.
- Support day-to-day business operations and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be proficient in Canva.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace (Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Gmail).
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience managing business social media accounts is an asset.
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT is considered an asset.
- Previous administrative assistant or executive assistant experience is considered an asset.
- Experience in education, tutoring, or working with children is an asset but not required.
