We are hiring a registered Social Worker for the 100 Mile House and District Hospital.

About This Position

This position’s focus is working with Palliative and Oncology patients in and around 100 Mile House Hospital. Travel is a requirement for this position and transportation arrangements must meet the employer’s requirements. You are required to hold a valid driver’s license and may be required to drive a personal car on mileage and/or be assigned a fleet vehicle as a condition of employment.

In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families. Working collaboratively with other health care providers and the multidisciplinary team, you deliver direct psychosocial care, including counseling and group work, while supporting system navigation and advocacy. You also provide education, connect clients to relevant specialized and complex care resources, and facilitate client self-management.

You are responsible for delivering and advancing social work services that maintain or improve the health, well-being,



and overall functioning of the identified population.
