Your Role – Software Development Manager

Building robust communication rhythms within the team and across Booking. Guiding the team through iterative planning and delivery while improving engineering discipline. Coaching developers to grow their craft and fostering a learning mindset. Supporting your team in using AI tools responsibly across the development lifecycle.

University

Degree in Computer or a related STEM field plus approximately 10+ years of experience (or equivalent).



2+ years leading or coaching developers, either as a people manager or in a senior technical role.

Experience guiding teams through planning, delivery, and operational ownership of production systems, ideally within a SaaS or product environment. Comfort balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term technical thinking.
