The start will not be earlier than September 8, 2026, and the assignment will last approximately four weeks.Current shift: 8:00 am–3:30 pm Monday–Friday (includes a ½ hour unpaid lunch). 10 months per year while regular classes are in session. Additional minutes per day are included in the current shift schedule,
which staff are expected to work daily in lieu of the spring break closure week to allow employees in continuing and temporary assignments to receive their regular pay during that period, per the Letter of Understanding – Spring Closure Week.Pay rate: $4,967.81 (Rate not finalized due to collective bargaining).ResponsibilitiesSupport teachers with managing classroom behaviour and academic engagement, supporting the maintenance of a structured, respectful, and focused learning environment.Bridge the gap between students’ academic and social‑emotional needs by building robust relationships, providing mentorship, and reinforcing positive behaviour.Play a supportive role in working with the program teacher, mental health counsellor, and families.End date: Earliest October 5, 2026, or return of incumbent, whichever comes first.#J-18808-Ljbffr
