With the future expansion of both the Expo and Millennium Lines gathering pace, infrastructure renewal and new asset acquisition projects underway, this is an exciting time to join our team of over 1,200 dedicated employees, working on one of the longest fully-automated rapid transit systems in the world. Our work encompasses roles such as administration, engineering, elevator and escalator maintenance, field operations, vehicle maintenance, and wayside (station and guideway) maintenance. The competencies of this position would be acquired through completion of University degree in Engineering on a required discipline, including a Professional Engineering Designation or eligibility to be registered with EGBC, plus eight (8) years of senior level engineering experience, preferably within transit and a Rolling Stock or Rail Infrastructure environment. Advanced knowledge on the principles, theories, and practices of the designated engineering discipline Advanced knowledge on relevant standards, legislation, acts and regulatory requirements pertaining to the rail industry. Working knowledge of railway operation and maintenance practices, including configuration control.

Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,



to resolve critical and high impact technical issues. Advanced skill in creating technical reports, standards, procedures, specifications, method statements, risk assessments, FMECA, schematic and or technical drawings. Solid knowledge of the principles, theories, concepts and practices of project management and project reporting.

Solid time management skills to balance and coordinate effort across multiple, concurrent activities. Solid communication skills and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to achieve consensus between groups. Knowledge of building systems, fire life and safety, or HVAC plumbing would be considered an asset.
