If you thrive on variety, challenge, and seeing the country while doing work that matters, NSG is where you belong.Reports to:Project SuperintendentShifts:7x7 or 14x14, 8-12h a dayLocation:Our office is based in Edmonton, but this role will travel all over Canada for project based workAllowances:Additional premiums and allowances are associated with this positionSafety Sensitive : Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be requiredTravel:up to 50% within Canada and potentially the USARelocation:This position does not offer relocationKey Job ResponsibilitiesAssemble and commission P&H shovels, drills, and loaders in accordance with OEM specificationsPerform mechanical installation, adjustment, alignment, and functional testing of heavy mining equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related equipment issuesSafely operate hand tools, power tools, lifting devices, and mobile equipment as requiredRead and interpret drawings, service manuals, assembly procedures, and work instructionsCollaborate effectively with supervisors, planners, electricians, welders, and customer representativesQualifications/RequirementsRed Seal Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright ticked requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience using hand tools, power tools, precision measurement instruments, and lifting equipmentExperience assembling, maintaining, or repairing mining equipmentPrevious experience with P&H shovels, drills, loaders,
