Overview We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager in our Calgary or Edmonton, AB offices. About InnoTech Engineering InnoTech is an engineering company focused on Operational Technology (OT) spanning instrumentation, electrical and automation infrastructure. Our team includes engineers, technologists and technicians with extensive experience, capable of handling both small and large OT projects and providing support for day-to-day facility operations. InnoTech’s primary services are Controls (PLC, DCS, SCADA), Electrical (low and medium voltage), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) engineering, and OT Lifecycle Planning and Cybersecurity. Position Summary Based in either Calgary or Edmonton, the Business Development Manager will work closely with the Business Development and Operations teams to meet corporate sales and growth objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to create and grow customer relations to generate profitable sales and revenue for InnoTech and collaborate with the Operations Management team toward achieving annual business targets.



You will be expected to maintain and grow existing accounts by expanding the scope of services and geographic reach with each client. You will also take initiative and work independently to attract and grow new clients for InnoTech within target industry sectors as identified in our strategic plan. Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the technologies and services delivered by InnoTech are required to achieve success. Experience in the delivery of industrial engineering and related OT/IT services is a highly desired asset. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and existing relationships within the fields of industrial electrical, instrumentation, control systems, OT network and cybersecurity design, delivery and support. This role will require a moderate amount of travel to customer locations, primarily in Western Canada.
