Key Responsibilities - Ensure product availability: plan product purchases (finished and bulk) from various suppliers (internal and third‑party) based on the level of service targeted for the portfolio in line with global objectives.
- Follow up with suppliers and execute the purchasing plan.
- Analyze and validate potential shortage reports, BO reports, and expiry dates.
- Present expected shortages or risks at the weekly Customer Protect meeting.
- Respond to market demands (BIR) for business opportunities and share opportunities or impacts on supply.
- Participate in Life Cycle Management team projects to operationalize various changes (manufacturing sites, API suppliers, equipment, etc.).
- Attend and assist in the preparation of business reviews (S&OP;) with suppliers to present market realities and ensure Canada’s prioritization.
Essential Requirements - Bachelor’s degree completed in Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing planning and/or as a buyer.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory.
- Knowledge of English (oral and written) for occasional communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues internationally.
- Ability to commute to the head‑office in Saint‑Hubert 2–3 times per week.
- Results‑oriented with robust time‑management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good team spirit.
- Autonomous.
Desirable
Requirements / Assets - Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in a multinational company (global relations).
- Experience with SAP, especially Rapid Response and Apo.
- APICS certification.
